Main Policies and Information

Order inquiries, cancellations or address changes:

All orders are Final Sale; however, if you have any order-related inquiries, please reply to your Order Confirmation email so we can work together to address them.

Address Corrections/Changes Require Contact within 24 hours of order:

  • Reply to your Order Confirmation email, and ensure the order number is in the email,
  • Provide your Updated/corrected address in your reply.

We are unable to modify addresses once an order has shipped. Some tracked mail options may allow delivery to be redirected, but this is not a guarantee. In the event your mail is returned due to an incorrect or changed address, please reply to your Order Confirmation email to discuss reshipment and applicable costs.

Are there any coupon codes? How many can I use? Can I use a PR code AND a coupon code?

There are coupons! And you can use one per order. If you are part of our Facebook Group, you can also make mention of a special phrase in the "Order Notes" to receive an additional freebie.

Coupon Codes cannot be applied retroactively. Please be sure to use a coupon code at the CHECKOUT page before your order is completed. A successfully applied code will be shown in the billing summary. If you are having an issue applying a valid coupon code, please contact me before placing your order.

Are there any freebies? What if I order 1 sticker/item?

Every order receives a A6 (4"x6") journaling card, a mini freebie sampler, and a mini sticker paper die-cut.

If you are part of our Facebook group, you can use a specific phrase that you add into the "Order Notes" for an additional, exclusive freebie!

When your subtotal is $10+, you can use a PR discount code to receive 10% off your order and you will receive that PR Rep's freebie.

Example 1 - 1 item:

What is a "Dream Cloud"? What are "Droplets", a Mist, Sunshower, or Rainmaker?

The "Dream Cloud" is the name of the shop's loyalty/rewards program! Earn Droplets by interacting with the site or social media, or inputting your birthday, or by simply making a purchase.

Earn 1 Droplet for every $1 spent on order items. As you earn Droplets, you can redeem 250 Droplets for a $7 CAD discount coupon (equivalent of just over $5 USD), save up to redeem a $15 CAD discount (equivalent to around $11 USD), etc.

TIERS

The Mist, Sunshower, and Rainmaker are tiers for being valued supporters of my shop! Everyone is part of the Mist, and as you earn Droplets you reach the next tier where additional benefits will be available. Details are still being worked out, but the tier rewards are currently:

Sunshower

- Coupon code for free standard (untracked) shipping (one use).

What sticker paper do you use?

Sticker sheets are paper stickers printed on "non-removable" regular matte white sticker paper. They are not vinyl or glossy, and they can be written on with regular pens.

You may be able to quickly reposition these types of stickers after placing it on your planner, journal, etc. but it is not recommended due to risk of tearing. Some people find luck with making the stickers less sticky by adhering it to the back of the hand or fingertips before placing the sticker, though this can impact how it sticks onto the paper. I can't recommend a specific method because I would not want your sticker ripping!

Do you draw everything yourself? Can I make requests? Can I use your designs for a project/something else?

Design & Copyright:

I do create and hand-draw everything myself! I put a lot of time and care into art that I enjoy and hope you enjoy as well.

My artwork and designs are copyrighted to me. Do not reproduce, redistribute, re-sell, or use my artwork and/or designs for anything other than personal, individual, and private use.

I do not permit my designs to be provided to personalization services, print-on-demand, or made-to-order services. If you are seeking something specific, please contact me to explore options.

Requests:

I am open to requests, although I can't promise I will be able to get to them all! I am happy to see how you use my stickers/stationery so if you share planner spreads or "plan with me videos" please tag me (@dreamindrops) and send me a link so I can enjoy your enjoyment!

Ordering and Shipping

How does billing work? Can I pay in my own currency without converting to CAD$?

At the moment, billing works as follows:

- Canadian and International residents will see values and all totals converted to Canadian Dollars (CAD) once shipping and billing details have been provided. Your payment provider will process this as payment in CAD. Please check with your bank and/or Paypal to see what fees they may apply to online transactions.

- United States of America residents should see values and totals in U.S. Dollars (USD); if not, currency will be converted to USD once shipping and billing details have been provided. Your payment provider will process this as a payment in USD. Please check with your bank and/or Paypal to see what fees they may apply to online transactions.

 

Payments made via Paypal can be made in either CAD or USD currency.

 

If you would like to pay in your local currency without conversion by paypal or your bank, you can check out our Etsy shop: DreaminDrops.etsy.com - pricing may higher on Etsy due to fees and taxes, but you may decide that route is more convenient for you.

 

(CURRENTLY DISABLED -  If the website shows a "currency selector", you may be able to browse the site in certain currencies (AUD, GBP, etc) to get an idea of the approximate cost equivalent in your local currency. When you get to checkout, the amount is converted to Canadian dollars at the current exchange rate. You will see the exact CAD $ amount before your payment is finalized. When you make payment, your currency is converted by your bank or paypal into Canadian dollars.)

 

How much is shipping? Do I need to pay taxes or customs?

 

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and the type of products in your order.

Shipping cost is a flat-rate shipping for untracked and tracked mail. This flat rate will depend on whether or not any non-sticker stationery items, and how many, are in your order. Please refer to your shipping estimate at the checkout screen for details.

Washi tape and sticky notes will result in orders being eligible for tracked shipping options only.

Buyers are responsible for remitting (paying) taxes and duties that their own place of residence (or their border/carrier services) applies to goods (VAT, import fees, etc.). These charges, if applicable, are not created, controlled, or received by Dream in Drops.

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes, though an account is recommended for faster checkout, and so you can access your order history and participate in the "Dream Cloud" loyalty reward program - each purchase adds "Droplets" (points) to your balance which you can redeem for rewards such as discounts and tiered benefits.

What are the estimated shipping (transit) times?

It is not possible to estimate transit time for UNTRACKED / lettermail delivery options. Lettermail can take anywhere from at least 2-6 weeks to be received after being shipped, and in some cases this time may be longer due to location, carrier issues, holidays, strikes, etc.

 

Estimated shipping time for TRACKED mail for Canada/US

- From 3-15 business days, but please refer to the carrier's estimated times based on your tracking information.

Estimated tracked shipping for international:

- From 10-25 business days, but please refer to the carrier's estimated times based on your tracking information.

Where is my tracking number? Where is my mail?

To be cost-effective, almost all orders are shipped by standard, untracked lettermail using Canada Post.

If you want to track your order, you must purchase the Tracked Shipping option relevant to your location. If you are located internationally, if your order is large, or you simply want to know where your mail is, please choose the tracked shipping option. Canada Post lettermail does not come with tracking so it is not possible to know its whereabouts once it is in the mail.

Exceptions to regular lettermail:

Heavy items (sticky notes, notepads, large bundles) are sent via "oversized" lettermail (meaning heavier lettermail), unless the weight of the order exeeds the threshold where it must become a "parcel" and require tracked shipping. Heavier items dispatching to USA or International will require tracked shipping to be selected.

 

I am not responsible for lost or delayed mail. In the event your mail has not arrived after the estimated shipping times, I will re-ship if/when it is returned to me. If you purchased tracked shipping and your mail is lost by the carrier, I can replace your order or provide you with store credit.

I chose tracked shipping - what service is used? Why is my mail delayed? Why can't I see updates?

Services that may be used for tracked shipping:

- ChitChats or Stallion Express

- USPS via ChitChats or Stallion Express

- Canada Post direct, or Canada Post via 3rd-party shipper

Please note that tracked shipping is very different from express shipping, and unless you selected Express/Priority shipping, your mail will still go through the typical channels of the post office process, which may still take time. The benefit is that in most cases, the package is scanned along those channels so we know where it is.  Sometimes the mail facilities or 3rd party carriers are delayed in processing packages or updating scans.

When your tracked order is marked as SHIPPED by me/Shopify, it means means your order is 100% packaged up, the label is created and is dropped off the same day or the next morning. Your tracking number should appear as a valid tracking number in the shipper's system about 24-48 hours after dispatch. From there, depending on the mail service and their system/updates, you may see various messages until your mail is delivered. Sometimes you may see no message between "shipped" and "delivered", depending on how the carrier updates their tracking. In the event there is no message and no delivery after the estimated delivery date, since this is still a tracked service there is recourse for lost mail, and we can proceed with a reship/resolution if the provider is unable to provide details.
